Paris as many of you know it is the City of Love. You can’t visit Europe and not spend at least some time in a city as rich in history and romance as Paris. We hope you’ll try to follow our advice and visit at least a few of these wonderful places that Paris has to offer for its tourists.

Anyone that thinks about Paris is bound to imagine himself walking on Champs Elysees and visiting the Eiffel Tower.  In order for you to have the best experience possible we recommend you to plan this trip during the summer since you want to fully enjoy the atmosphere of this beautiful city.

The Eiffel Tower is a great place to spend a couple of hours if you want to witness one of the most breathtaking views that Paris has to offer. The tower itself was designed and built for the World Fair of 1889 and it wasn’t really appreciated by French people until tourists and people from around the world made it one of the main attractions of the city.

If you decide to take a walk on the famous avenue of Paris, the Champs Elysees then you will probably end up at the Arc de Triomphe which is another impressive building that this metropolis has to offer us. The Arc de Triomphe was commissioned by Napoleon himself and although it was supposed to be finished by 1810 it was only finished in 1836. If you decide to visit the museum it holds as well then you might want to allocate a good 1 or 2 hours for its visit.

If you want to be in touch with your spiritual side wherever you go then you can reserve at least 2 hours to visit the work of art that was invested in what many consider the most beautiful cathedral in the world, the Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral.  This religious site integrates so many architectural styles in such a manner that even the most common persons will stop and admire its greatness even if only for a moment.

Art is no stranger to Paris and by visiting the Louvre Museum you will understand that fully. After all it is the world’s greatest art museum.  The history of the Louvre Museum that opened in 1793 is a long one and you will be thrilled to know that it wasn’t always been a museum, it was actually a fort at the beginning but during the time it was also a palace.
